Welcome to Equimour

Equimour is a private livery yard in Morningstar, Cape Town, offering attentive, personalised care in a peaceful country setting.

Whether your horse is enjoying an active lifestyle or entering retirement, our focus remains the same: exceptional care, individual attention and a happy, healthy horse.

Owned and run by the Gilmour Family, Equimour is a hands-on yard where Amanda works alongside our dedicated grooms to ensure every horse receives the care and attention it deserves.

We believe in keeping things personal. Every horse is known by name, with its own routine, individual feed plan and tailored care. Owners can stay connected through our members’ area, where they can view their horse’s care, feeding and upcoming farrier, vaccination and dental dates, as well as request additional services with a simple tap.

Our aim is to create a calm, happy environment for every horse, and peace of mind for every owner, knowing their horse is loved, understood and in good hands.

“Every horse is known by name.”
